Our Story
From Pioneers to Powerhouse
Founded in 2007, Utility Automation Sdn. Bhd. (UASB) was born out of a bold idea: to localize world-class utility automation expertise and deliver mission-critical solutions with pride, precision, and purpose.
UASB began as a close-knit team of pioneers driven by technical curiosity and national ambition. Co-founded by the late Dato’ Zainal Azirun and Ahmad Kamal Yusoff, we’ve grown into a homegrown engineering powerhouse — delivering solutions trusted by the country’s largest energy providers.
Today, our systems support hundreds of substations, but our true strength lies in our people — a team of engineers, developers, and solution specialists united by one vision: to engineer smarter, safer power infrastructure.
